Not even what is born and dies, just as quickly, on social media networks. Romania is so much more. Different and good, true, in its oases, maybe two existences unfolding in parallel, but just as real, alive, important. The other Romania is also important to each of us, to the children who will choose to grow up here, on this land. It is important to see it with good eyes and tolerance, to give it another chance, to discover its corners that you have not entered so far, to listen to its charming, unspoken stories, values, tradition, history, people, places and especially hope.<\/p>\n

We present to you in the following lines 20 special places of Romania. Because we know it’s important to also know it like this. It is essential. Because we want you to cross its paths, to feel its magic, to live its old story, brought to the present, perhaps more beautifully than ever, through every oasis we visited, through each beautiful host we had the chance to meet one morning.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Amfiteatrul Transilvania – Moeciu, Bra\u0219ov<\/a><\/strong><\/h4>\n

Amfiteatrul Transilvania, an ecological complex of 100 hectares, hosts on the top of the most beautiful hill of Moieciu de Sus, 200 years old traditional houses, carefully rebuilt. The paint used here is obtained from plants and fruits, just as the furniture of the guesthouses is made of natural materials. We find the simple pleasure of eating locally and fresh, we see from here the Bucegi and Piatra Craiului mountains, we remember all the details of our childhood. Memories lived clearly, becoming more vivid than ever.<\/p>\n

In the Transylvanian Cri\u0219 we found the refinement of another era: Bethlen Estates. The Caretaker\u2019s House, a restored 300 years old building, transformed into a beautiful pastel house. Original wooden beams, traditional stoves, an elegant library, a bright living room. The Depner House, with the feeling of nostalgia: traditional, of Saxon heritage, impeccably restored. Casa Filip – Sarichioi, Tulcea<\/strong><\/a><\/h4>\n

In Sarichioi, very close to Razim lake, we let ourselves be carried away in a story of a fascinating Lipovan blue. At Casa Filip, an old restored Lipovan household, born a century ago, in 1921, we discovered small pieces of the world: a distant childhood, with traditions, laughter, sun and thousands of colors, passionate hosts, a beautiful family, radiating every time they talk about tradition and faith. We found ourselves in melancholy, on the blue porch, lost in one of the most beautiful sunsets. And so much peace.<\/p>\n

Casa Savri – Sighi\u0219oara, Mure\u0219<\/strong><\/a><\/h4>\n

Then Casa Savri, a wonderful historical monument, the oldest building in Sighi\u0219oara fortress, born in 1568, inherited by the young owners from their parents. They chose to give this amazing building life and purpose, turning it into a guesthouse, being the perfect hosts, in an inner courtyard, full of all the seasons: old objects and furniture, flowers, vivid colors, the Clock Tower just above. Passion for tradition, history, family, for the old values.<\/p>\n

We are delighted and deeply impressed to have discovered it, to have lived a complete experience in terms of accommodation, gourmet menu, activities. The beautiful energy of the people, the history of the 16th century castle, the story of Jidvei, the company that owns the castle today, their involvement in the community and the contribution to the progress and international recognition of the Romanian wine.<\/p>\n

Viscri 32 is best known for its beautiful old barn, transformed into a slow food restaurant, decorated with old, handmade objects, dried plants and the most beautiful terracotta stove, made in white and blue. But a unique experience is also created by the guest rooms, detached from the Saxon stories. A beautiful example of recreating country life, in a traditional village, with young, passionate people. Silence instead of noise, back in time and not on fast forward, keeping the values \u200b\u200band symbols alive, instead of forgetting.<\/p>\n

Zabola Estate – Z\u0103bala, Covasna<\/strong><\/a><\/h4>\n

Magic everywhere; next to the fireplace, inside the fairytale rooms, around the lake, breathing deeply the clean and wild air, along the forest, discovering the green and living field, simply following nature. Zabola Estate, a story that began in the 16th century, later became a 34 hectares estate and guesthouse for the passionate tourists. We have found here many changes that the world and life have gone through. A welcoming land, with seven historical buildings, thematic rooms, nature experiences and a huge natural park.<\/p>\n
